CHARLOTTE, N.C. (July 2, 2024) – Carolina Ascent Football Club announced today a multi-faceted partnership with HopFly Brewing Co. as the club’s Official and Exclusive Craft Beer Partner. HopFly is headquartered in Charlotte, N.C. and today is one of the largest self-distributed breweries in the state. The multi-year agreement with Carolina Ascent FC features innovative craft beer, fan-focused watch parties and a full-service digital media package.

HopFly will brew an Official Craft Beer for Carolina Ascent’s Inaugural Season. The name and can artwork, inspired by the phenomenal rise of women’s sports, is a collaboration that will be unveiled at the club’s jersey unveiling event on Wednesday, July 10. The new brew will be pouring at American Legion Memorial Stadium throughout the club’s inaugural season.

The South End brewery will become the destination for Carolina Ascent Watch Parties streaming all away matches throughout the taproom on Peacock. Carolina Ascent staff will be on site for each watch party distributing giveaways and prizes to fans in attendance.
Coupled with a full digital media package, in-stadium, on the Carolina Ascent website and across social media, the brewery will be featured as the sponsor of the “HopFly Penalty Kick”.
Carolina Ascent will host its first event with HopFly Brewing Co. on Wednesday, July 10 for the club’s Jersey Unveiling. Fans will get a first look at the inaugural season kits and be able to meet the players taking the pitch this August. The event is free to attend, but the club is asking fans to RSVP.
