CAROLINA ASCENT INVESTS IN GIRLS ON THE RUN
The Carolina Ascent Foundation’s partnership with Girls on the Run will use the power of soccer to inspire, encourage, and empower girls to recognize their potential and believe in what is possible.
Through a signature Women’s Empowerment Day at a Carolina Ascent match, participants will experience an inspiring game-day celebration focused on leadership, confidence, perseverance, and the importance of women supporting women. Carolina Ascent players will also serve as mentors through personalized video encouragements and messages of support throughout each Girls on the Run season, providing the girls with positive role models who reinforce the values of courage, determination, teamwork, and self-belief.
The partnership will culminate with Carolina Ascent’s presence and support at the Girls on the Run 5K celebrations at the end of each semester, celebrating the girls’ accomplishments and the personal growth they have demonstrated throughout the program.
Together, the organizations will create meaningful touchpoints throughout the year that extend beyond the soccer field and reinforce a powerful message: every girl has the ability to lead, persevere, and make a difference in her community.
