Sassy is the official mascot of Carolina Ascent FC. Carolina Ascent first introduced the sasquatch to her new family on May 16, 2026 in the team’s final home regular season match.
HOW SHE GOT HERE
Growing up, Sassy never quite fit in. In the Blue Ridge Mountains, she watched from afar as kids played, hoping one day that she could be accepted and join them.
Everything changed when she stumbled across a soccer ball in the woods. She imagined playing under the lights, the roar of the stadium, and the fans cheering her on. It was at that moment, she began her journey to step out of the shadows.
From the coast to the mountains, she searched for a place to be her unapologetic self. A place to be bold, seen, and thrive.
